We have a set of Autometer Ultralight gages in the car. Not required by any means. You can leave your tach in there & simply run that little green wire (the one with the yellow stripe) right up to that GM alternator and it should work just fine for you.
Potential issues could be there for the oil pressure though. I am not familiar with what the stock gage used for a sending unit and if the sending unit on the GM Motor will work with the ford gage.
We have the autometer gage for the oil pressure.
Tranny temp is measured both incoming and outgoing from the cooler. One gage - with a two way switch. Creative thinking will help you on this - if you need to see the wiring diagram it should be in the "Project" area of the website.
