1990 Mustang LX body good title with no accidents, bondo or rust AZ car.
1991 Toyota Super red II paint 4 years old but still looks good because car is in garage 99.9% of the time (drag car!) never parked outside. There are some defects-chips on paint from burn outs and chips and flakes on the nose.
Stock k member for a Ford engine.
Coil over front suspension with 178LBS springs and Lakewood 70/30 Struts. Car did 1.52 60' time with this set up on a stock 350 and a 100 shot.
Tubular upper and lower rear control arms
Mustang GT spindles with Lincoln Mk V caliper and rotors (5 lugs) Stopped car with no problem running 10.97@124
10 point cage that HAS passed tech at every track in AZ.
Welded full length sub frame connectors
Welded torque boxes with reinforcement plates
5 gal aluminum fuel mounted in hatch area with fire wall (NHRA legal)
1/2 aluminum fuel line
Manual rack and pinion
Flaming River CM steering shaft (welded)
Fire wall holes all welded or closed (NHRA legal)
Interior dyed black (plastic) with new black door panels, carpet and head liner
All glass is good, ¼ windows not burnt and have replacement moldings
Harwood 5.5” lift off race hood.
2004 Mustang 15” wheels like new with good to fair tires (295-50-15 rear)
This was a race car and has no HVAC or electronics ect….just a rolling chassis.. All the light are there and look new but not wired in! This would be a great race car again or if you have a POS Fox Body, swap your running gear over to this nice body and have a nice car cheaper than fixing your junk!
Just to give full discloser the car now has a 7.5 1984 GT rear end in it NOT the 8.8. I had to drill the axles to fit the 5 lug wheels! No brakes are plumbed into this rear end and it has no drums on it (I do have the 4 lug drums for it). I would not use this rear on the street and consider it only a temp to roll the car on! Seats are out of an older GT and have no seat brackets…I only had one race seat in the car.
Here are some up to date pics taken 5-29-2010 I also posted a link to a album with pics and video that shows the cars history over the last 5 years to show how it looked as a drag car and how good the body was even before paint.
$2200 OBO money talks bull nuts walks open to other projects in trade but must be 66 and older or a rat rod
I also have an AJE tube K member and arms with SBC,LSX and I think Mod Ford mounts for sale with matching SBC Hooker headers $350
