coony278 nice looking after i get mine on the track and bugs worked out i hope to clean up the paint on mine but since it will just be a race car i don't know ha ha!!!! i'm glad i did this project and found this site......frank

My car is a race car only , wish I would have kept it street legal though. It hasnt seen the street in a year. Guess I could find a wiring harness and put some lights back in |

i have these same rims on my malibu. who makes the hood??? how high is it??

The rear wheels are 15x8 with 5.5 inch backspacing. The hood is a harwood and it is 4 inches. Had some mufflers put on the car , going to do a little street driving in it soon |

The car still has the stock length 8.8 rear end housing in it. Spool and 31 spline axles and C-clip eliminators. Been hitten it with a trans brake for 2 years now and good so far.

man that is a nice car!! i seen in your previous post you said you were putting some mufflers on it and doing some street driving !!! how did that go and what kind did you go with ?

Havnt driven it on the street yet. I had the mufflers installed about a month ago. I sure do like it better than the open headers. I can crank it whenever I want within reason. Before the niehbors would complain. I cant tell any difference with the mufflers as far as ET still runs the some thing. I put some 3.5" dyno max bullets on it. They are not quiet by any means but they sure knock the edge off. Been to busy racing to try and swap the wheels and tires out to drive on the street Ant thanks for the compliments ! |

No problem man, it is real nice. I am probably just going to run open headers because if I drive down the street its going to be prompt and I do not care if my neighbors complain haha.
