yes mfb496 aje trans x member too fit great but could not get trans mount in used a rubber pad between trans and x member works great

i got it all from aje there was a special going on at the time so i saved money and the headers from jegs,,,,,,, yes the trams mount has a little to do with it and i slotted the motor mounts also...... my drive shaft is straight and level,,,,,,,,

82 stang , If your driveshaft is level , it will not live , a ujoint has to have angle, if it has no angle then will not rotate on the needle bearings, hence burning up the bearing. I can provide some info on this if you care to read , just let me know, not trying to be smart , it is just a fact. And you also have to beat the floor board up to get correct driveline angle with a th 350 , and you really have to beat the snot out of it to get a glide in there and maintain , driveline geometry . thanks coony278 i'll have to ck that out, on test at air port that day it felt great smooth as a new one ,, no wheel hop, no shake,,went straight,,,,,,, maybe all too good,,,,,,,i'll read the link,,,,,,,or but the rear mount back in to give it some angle i have some room yet,,,,,,this weekend going to carlisle so next week will be test and tune closest strip is 21/2 hr away,,,,so i'm trying to get a lot of bugs out before then,,,,, again thanks,,,,,,,thats why i got on here if i knew it all !!!!!!
