I need to know if i have to buy the after market k member or not. And what headers do i use.  ?? |

You can buy the aftermarket k member but you don't have to. I am putting a sbc into an 86 GT and I just made up my own mounts. As far as headers go Kooks carries them at around $1000. I believe you need the aftermarket k member to use their headers. I bought a set of used regular sbc headers and cut them up and made them fit. That is after all why we do the sbc into mustang anyway isn't it. Too be different and fabricateing our own stuff to fit. Cheaper and alot more fun to make your own, as long as you have acces to a welder.
