OK engine is in and bolted, tranny is in and bolted. Headers are still an issue. I have a 1993 coupe - it came with a 4 cylinder fuel injected, I am running a 350 out of a 1980 chevy short box. On the chevy starter there is about 5 wires - one big one that goes to the battery, and others that go ?? - one or two go to the altinator. Cab I remove these and connect the ford harness for keyable starting or what??? what do I do with the distributor wire???

Forget the wires that are on the chevy motor. There should be a starter relay on the fender well. The small wire on it goes to the chevy starter now. The other big wires that was on the hot side of the silenoid just put them to the battery. Get the grounds hooked up and put a battery in it . Turn the key and of and use a test light to find a wire that hots up with the key on, run it to your distibutor.

Oh yeah , and for headers , well you can buy a high dollar set from kooks or lemons. Or you can use a set for a around 90 chevy pick up shorties, they work but tight around steering column. What I found the best for headers was a set of 78 up chevelle headers. The right side goes right with a little fire wall bending. The left side you have to move 2 tubes. Meaning you have to cut and weld up 2 tubes to make them work. The S-10 headers would not work at all for me. But I aslo put my motor in and set up all the drive line angles and centered the motor in the bay. Maybe if you moved the motor around you could make a set of headers fit but I dont think that is the right way to do it. The motor needs to be in the car right to have no driveline angle problems or vibrations. Chad

Buy a set of headers at a swap meet cheap and cut them up and weld to fit...I have a set of big tubes that fit better then the Lemons(junk) and cost only $50 and about 8hr of fun labor
