a couple weeks back, my only working ford, a 91 thuinderbird LX took a nuts on me, being a chevy guy at heart i dusted off the underhood of the thunderbird, determined that the 5.0 HO engine in it was still good, but beginning to suffer old age, looking at the other thunderbird i had sitting there gutted, and then my chevy drivetrain out of the now extint nova we had, i looked at one,t hen the other, back and fourth over again, and looked at the scrap pile, i grabbed some tubes and went to work making a test bed to fire up the old chevy, equipping the old 350 with 202 heads and all my good spare parts left over from my camaro, firebird, and the old nova, i have all but the flywheel to fit it, and a pair of headers, i can find one and make the other, to date the project has cost me $175 for the motor and tranny, and the car was a scrap junk car trade for a mere $5 cost in gas for the trip. a $85 window. pictures can be seen at www.myspace.com/scitzofitzo while there is pictures of it being fixed body wise as a ford, it'll soon get the new motor planted into it. -Fitz
